Check-In & Check-Out Times
- Check-In: 4:00 PM Check-Out: 11:00 AM
- Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available by request for an additional fee, depending on availability.
- Luggage storage is available if you would like to enjoy the resort before or after your room check-in or check-out time.
- Guests must be 21 years of age or older to check in. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will remain responsible for the room and any related charges during the stay.
- A valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) is required at arrival.
- A valid credit or debit card is required at check-in. The cardholder must be a registered guest. Limited exceptions may apply for groups of individual travelers using a third-party credit card authorization form; however, a physical card must still be presented at check-in for any incidental charges billed to the room.
- Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight in resort rooms.
- Guests are not permitted to have any type of explosive, weapon, firearms, ammunition or any item that can be used as a weapon or has the appearance of a weapon, on resort property, except for law enforcement officers authorized by law.
Departures before the confirmed check-out date may be subject to an early check-out fee, typically equal to one night’s room rate plus tax.

Cancellation Policy
This reservation may be canceled up to 48 hours prior to the arrival date’s check-in time (4pm CST). Cancellations made less than 48 hours to the arrival date will be charged a cancel fee of the first night’s room charges and applicable taxes. NBCUniversal:16900359v1
Parking
- On-site parking is available for registered guests only, fees apply. (No Valet Parking)

- The resort is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or contents.
Guarantee Policy
Credit Card Guarantee
- This rate requires a valid credit or debit card to guarantee the reservation. Reservations that do not arrive on the scheduled arrival date or are canceled within the cancellation period will be subject to a cancellation or no-show fee.
- Thirty (30) Day Deposit: A deposit is required to fully confirm this booking. This deposit will be collected thirty (30) days prior to arrival. For bookings made less than thirty (30) days in advance, the deposit will be collected on the day of booking. The deposit will be charged to the Credit Card used to book the reservation
- A valid credit or debit card is required at check-in. The cardholder must be a registered guest.
- Upon arrival, your card will be authorized for: The full amount of your stay, including room rate and taxes, and
- An additional amount to cover incidentals such as dining, retail, or damages.
- A $50 per day incidental authorization will be placed on your account at check-in. This is a temporary hold, not a charge. If incidental charges exceed the estimated daily amount, additional authorizations may be applied. Any unused funds will be released by your bank within 3–10 business days after check-out.
- Debit card authorizations place a temporary hold on available funds. Release timing is controlled by the guest’s financial institution, not the hotel.
- All taxes are estimated at the time of booking. Final taxes will be calculated at the time of stay in accordance with applicable taxation rules in effect at the property’s location.
- All room bookings are subject to a Frisco Tourism Public Improvement District Fee (or Frisco PID Fee), which is a 2% fee that is assessed on all taxable room rate charges and remitted to the City of Frisco.
- Please note: Universal Kids Resort is a cashless property. We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as digital payment methods. Cash is not accepted anywhere in the resort. A cash-to-card conversion machine is available near the Lobby for guests who wish to exchange cash for a prepaid card.
- All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit or debit card at the time of booking.
- Deposit requirements vary by rate plan.
- If the applicable rate plan requires a deposit, a charge equal to one (1) night’s room rate plus applicable taxes will be applied to the valid credit or debit card on file thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
- For reservations made within thirty (30) days of the scheduled arrival date, any required deposit will be charged at the time of booking.
- Certain rate plans require an advance deposit at the time of booking, with deposit amounts varying by plan.
Certain rate plans, promotions, and event packages at Universal Kids Resort require full prepayment at the time of booking.
- Prepaid stays are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- The total amount for all room nights and taxes must be paid when the reservation is made.
- Once payment is processed, no refunds or changes can be made, including early departures or shortened stays.
- In rare, verified emergencies, management may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
- A valid credit card or debit card is required to guarantee all reservations.
- Guests may cancel their reservation without penalty until 4:00 PM local hotel time, 48 hours prior to their scheduled arrival date. After this time, cancellations, including no-shows, will be charged one night’s room rate plus applicable taxes.
- Early departures after check-in may incur the early check-out fee noted above.
- No-shows are charged at least one night’s room and tax (or more, depending on rate plan).
- Prepaid and promotional reservations are non-refundable.
Universal Kids Resort Hotel may offer special contracted and negotiated rates to select corporate, entertainment, group and travel-industry organizations.
- These rates are available only to eligible guests associated with the applicable company, organization, or event, are non-transferable, and may not be used by any other individual. Name changes after booking are not permitted for reservations made under these rates.
- Proof of eligibility (such as a company ID, booking code, or written authorization) must be presented at check-in.
- Failure to provide verification may result in the reservation being re-rated to the best available public rate for those dates.
- Contracted rates may include specific cancellation, billing, or payment terms, which will be honored as stated in the applicable agreement.
Extended Stay Guests
For guests staying longer than seven consecutive nights, special extended-stay procedures apply:
- Payment for the first seven nights is required at check-in, with subsequent payments due weekly or per the agreed billing schedule.
- Housekeeping service may be provided on a limited schedule as arranged with our front desk.
- Extended-stay guests must keep a valid credit card on file throughout the stay.
- If a guest shortens or cancels the stay early, the early-check-out fee or rate adjustment may apply.
- The resort reserves the right to perform wellness or maintenance inspections for extended-stay accommodations with prior notice.
- Guests staying more than 15 days need to be approved by Hotel Management.
Government Employee and Military Rates
Universal Kids Resort proudly supports government and military travelers.
Government Employee Rates
- Government rates are available to active or retired federal, state, or local government employees traveling on official business or leisure.
- A valid government photo ID must be presented at check-in to confirm eligibility.
- If ID cannot be verified, the rate will be adjusted to the best available public rate at check-in.
- Government Employee bookings are subject to the same payment, cancellation, and incidental policies as standard reservations unless otherwise stated.
- Military rates are available for Active Duty, Reservist, The National guard, and/or their Spouses, as well as Retired and 100% Disabled Veterans of all branches of the US Military with a valid military photo ID.
- A valid military photo ID must be presented at check-in to confirm eligibility.
- If ID cannot be verified, the rate will be adjusted to the best available public rate at check-in.
- Military bookings are subject to the same payment, cancellation, and incidental policies as standard reservations unless otherwise stated.
Hotel & Resort Policies
Guest Conduct
We strive to maintain a safe, family-friendly environment.
- Excessive noise, unsafe acts, or disruptive behavior are not permitted.
- Guests violating resort policies may be asked to vacate without refund.
- Daily housekeeping is provided unless you request limited service for sustainability.
- Maintenance staff may enter rooms for necessary repairs or safety checks.
- For extra towels, linens, or special requests, contact Guest Services.
We want your stay to be comfortable and carefree — please help us keep the resort safe and welcoming for everyone.
- Guests are responsible for any damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning required after departure.
- Please report any maintenance issues immediately so we can assist you right away.
- A cleaning or repair fee may be charged if there is damage, spills, or strong odors left in the room.
- Any disturbances or unsafe behavior that disrupts other guests may result in early checkout without refund.
Universal Kids Resort maintains a smoke-free and vape-free environment in all guest rooms, balconies, indoor spaces and throughout the park. For guests who smoke, designated outdoor areas are provided.
- A $300 cleaning fee will be charged for violations.
- Only trained service animals, as defined under applicable Texas and federal law, are permitted at Universal Kids Resort.
- Guests traveling with a service animal are required to note the service animal in their reservation or notify the hotel directly at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
- Emotional-support animals and pets are not permitted at Universal Kids Resort.
- Guests with unauthorized animals will be charged a $250 cleaning fee, and will be asked to check out.
- Pool and recreation facilities are for registered guests only.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Glass containers, outside food, or beverages are not permitted in pool areas.
- Proper swimwear is required.
- Please follow all posted safety rules and staff instructions.
- Children who are not toilet trained must wear approved swim diapers while in the pool.
- Personal floatation devices such as floating chairs and tubes are not permitted.
While an incredible vacation awaits at Universal Kids Resort, unfortunately we can't make guarantees about the weather, but Guests' travel plans can still be stress-free. In the event that a natural disaster occurs or a state of emergency is declared for the Dallas/Frisco area or in their place of residence, within seven days of your arrival, Guests can contact our team in advance to reschedule or cancel their Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations package, and Universal Kids Resort park tickets booked directly with Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations, without any cancellation or change fees imposed.

- Guests are responsible for following all resort safety and conduct rules.
- Lost items are logged and held for 30 days on property.
- Perishable items are discarded daily.
- Boomerang, a third-party technology platform, handles Lost and Found for Universal Kids Resort.
- Once you have completed the Lost Item Report, you will receive a notification indicating the status of your lost item including if your item has been recovered, if the item is still being searched for, if more information about the item is required or if we were unable to locate the item.
- Shipping of recovered items can be arranged at the guest’s expense.
