How does Photo Reference identification work at Universal Kids Resort?
We will take your photo at our entrance turnstiles the first time you use your tickets, or, for certain ticket products, at the point-of-sale counter. On subsequent visits the entrance attendant will reference this photo to verify that you are using the same ticket. This information helps facilitate re-entry and prevent fraud.

What information is collected as part of the Photo Reference identification?
Using a handheld device at the entrance turnstiles, or, for certain ticket products, a mounted camera at the point-of-sale counter, we will take a static photo of you for use in verifying your tickets. The static photo may be cropped or resized to assist you with faster verification at the entrance turnstiles.

Are Guests required to use Photo Reference identification?
No, guests can choose to opt out of Photo Reference identification if they would like by notifying the attendant at the entrance to Universal Kids Resort prior to entry. Guests who opt-out of Photo Reference identification will be required to carry and show a valid photo ID.

How long will photos taken for Photo Reference identification be stored in your system?
Photos taken for Photo Reference identification will only be retained for up to 30 calendar days from the last ticket product expiration associated with that guest.

Do you use RFID technology in your park?
Yes, we offer rechargeable drink cups containing an RFID antenna that interacts with RFID scanners at each Coca-Cola soda dispenser. We use this information to track and identify the information (i.e. cup size, date purchased, number of times used, number of refills remaining, etc.) stored on the rechargeable drink cups.

Do you use security cameras in the park?
Yes, we monitor and record certain locations throughout Universal Kids Resort to confirm your security and improve your guest experience.

Automated License Plate Recognition
We utilize Automated License Plate Recognition Systems at the Universal Kids Resort Hotel parking lot to validate your parking entitlements, improve your guest experience, and operate the Universal Kids Resort Hotel parking area. We also utilize Automated License Plate Recognition Systems at entrances around Universal Kids Resort to confirm your security.

Yes, certain locations may capture candid photographs of our guests as they experience our park and attractions.
